PTA Turns To Students For Ideas To Better Community

Some Colorado children are coming together to improve their school and community. They got to pich their ideas just like they do on SHARK TANK. The PTA only had $500 to work with. The kids had to then present their ideas before the board. One of the top ideas was a free community library. Other teams wanted to make blankets for homeless people. Another wanted to record the teachers in the classroom for the kids that missed school that day.

The winning idea? Get high school studdents that used to go to their elementary school to come back and TUTOR THE YOUNGER STUDENTS.  Great idea indeed!

Parents and kids together had a blast.

What a great idea to get the kids involved. This is a lesson for any PTA to learn from.
